From the beginning, the concept was clear – to re-imagine the classic leather school satchel/briefcase for everyday use both around town and going into the office.
This new bag needed to be sleek and minimalist yet ultra-functional.
It takes the best of time-tested materials and combines them with modern ones – all the while maintaining a cohesive look. It pays homage to traditional leather bag design without being constrained by it.
We've settled on a fusion of vegetable tanned leather and heavyweight felt mixed with one of the most cutting-edge fabrics in the world. It is fitted with magnetic closures, premium safety buckles, and custom hardware developed specifically for this bag.
The bag has been designed to be worn either as a traditional satchel/briefcase (horizontal) or angled like a messenger bag. The unique strap attachment system allows the bag to pivot in relation to the strap – thus accommodating varied carry preferences.
Every aspect of this bag has been carefully considered.
Features include:
- Front flap pocket with organizer panel.
- Fidlock Magnetic front closures.
- Removable high density industrial felt laptop sleeve with leather zip pocket for a 13" laptop. (14" Macbook pro's will also fit)
- Messenger-style Asymmetrical Felt padded shoulder strap which is removable and reversible for left or right shoulder carry. It is attached to the bag with custom aluminum hardware and has an Austrialpin Cobra buckle for quick disconnect and adjustment.
- Bag lined with Dimension Polyvalent UVX40 x-pac for strength, structure and durability.
- Leather grab handle.
- All hardware is replaceable.

This bag will be released on the website at 7pm EST Wednesday Sept 16th.
This is a one of a kind sample bag made with custom printed "dazzle" camouflage lining. The lining is a cotton canvas that has been hand waxed and has many extra hours of time put into it's manufacture.
The Pivot was designed as to be the smaller sibling of the Revival Satchel, and while it shares some similar design language it strikes its own unique silhouette.
At just over 7L in capacity it's big enough to carry all the essentials you'd want in a day bag, without getting too big and bulky.
The exterior combine premium leather and waxed canvas that strikes a balance between structure, flexibility and of course style.
The Pivot features Wilboro's
proprietary strap anchor hardware 
that allows the bag to change angles independently from the shoulder strap creating a versatile and comfortable experience for the wearer. With a few basic tools (included with the bag) it's easy to remove and switch the shoulder strap orientation for left of right shoulder carry depending on the wearers preference.

- Designed and Crafted in the Wilboro Ottawa, Canada Studio.
- Exterior Fabric is Halley Stevensons famed Salt and Pepper hybrid waxed Nettle and Cotton canvas in olive colour.
- The main panel leather is a milled Wickett and Craig English Bridle while accent leather is "Buttero" an Italian full grain vegetable tan from the Conceria Walpier tannery. Please note that this leather has a distinct earthy smell when new, and will disappear over time.
- Interior lined with 10oz cotton canvas with Wilboro designed dazzle camouflage reactive dyed print. Hand waxed with Fjallraven greenland wax for a dry finish. **Please note you may see some small marks on the lining due to the inconsistencies of hand waxing**
- Aluminum hardware throughout including: closure and strap adjustment buckles.
- Wing style shoulder strap attachment points for flexibility and comfort.
- Custom strap attachment hardware made of 7075 Aluminum designed in house and made in Ottawa.
- Front Organizer Pocket
- Quick access external lid pocket with magnetic closures.
- An optional, detachable, stabilizer strap is included to prevent the bag from shifting positions.
- Adjustable length Asymmetrical High Density felt and leather shoulder strap that can be oriented for left of right shoulder carry. Strap is adjustable on front and back ends to get that perfect fit.

In true Wilboro fashion this bag has evolved through countless iterations. La Musette has become a personal favourite and my daily use bag, and it’s fantastic!
La Musette utilizes Wilboro Pivot shoulder strap attachment system, the strap can be flipped for right or left shoulder carry, while allowing the bag to sit at various angles for user comfort

Please note that this leather has a distinct earthy smell when new, and will disappear over time. Leather will show some range marks and variation in colour, especially as it bends over time.
